BIO:
Will Atwater is a North Carolina native who developed his interests
in documentary work while working as the garden director for
the not-for-profit organization Southeastern Efforts Developing
Sustainable Spaces (SEEDS), which assists neighborhoods in the
creation of sustainable green spaces for gardening, gathering
and education. Inspired by the transformations of garden and
neighborhood that he witnessed, Will Atwater began to build
an archive of super-8 and 16mm footage, photographs, and audio
recordings that capture the evolution of the SEEDS Demonstration
Garden--from its days as a vacant lot to its rebirth as a thriving
garden and community space.
